With its Swiss inspired décor and furniture using Swiss oak and other natural woods, spectacular local photography of the Alps and the beautiful cityscape of Zurich, you will find the Aspire Zurich lounge the perfect place to catch up on some pre-flight work, enjoy a delicious hot meal, or simply relax in complete comfort.
We don’t just provide superb amenities in our Zurich lounge, travellers can enjoy traditional local and regional cuisine from the Swiss style buffet, including Swiss bread, wines and beers.

The Aspire Zurich Airside lounge is located in the Airside Centre of the airport terminal. Being Airside means you have passed through airport security, so the general public cannot access the Aspire Zurich Airside airport lounge, only legitimate passengers may use it.
Please note, the Aspire Zurich Airside lounge is for travellers permitted to travel freely in the Schengen zone. This means you hold an EU/EEA/Swiss passport and you must be flying to a Schengen destination.
After clearing security start following the signs for Aspire Lounge and the Airside Centre – the Airside Centre is essentially a passenger hub in Zurich airport containing shops and passenger services.
The Aspire Airside lounge is located on the 3rd floor of the Airside Centre, reached by the stairs or lift from the 2nd floor departure level.

Yes, you definitely can. But you must bring a few things with you to gain access.
If you’ve reserved a place at our Aspire Zurich Airside Airport Lounge and you are currently a Dragonpass Holder, Priority Pass Holder or some other bank cardholder scheme, you will be asked to present your card in addition to your confirmation upon arrival at the airport lounge.
Anyone who fails to provide a valid lounge access card will, unfortunately, be denied entry to the Aspire Zurich Airside lounge.
If you have reserved for more than one person, but do not have enough credits on your card for this on the day, you will be asked to pay the walk-up price at the lounge or you will be denied entry.
Please note, you must still reserve your place in our Aspire Airport Lounges as a Dragonpass Holder, Priority Pass Holder or a similar Airport lounge bank card scheme due to each lounge having a mandated person capacity.

Aspire lounge teams are serious about good food and great service. Our Aspire Zurich Airside team work hard to create interesting menus showcasing local and regional Swiss produce. We take care to source quality ingredients and keep our menus changing to provide variety and ensure that Aspire travellers find something to suit their taste each time they visit us.
Of course, we serve freshly baked Swiss and international pastries each day, complemented by Turm Swiss coffee, the perfect accompaniment with pastries or for a pick me up. And our Bircher muesli is a firm favourite with our return guests too.
Look out for our Swiss chocolate in the Airside lounge too, we like to offer guests the chance to try Swiss classics.
We are proud to offer renowned regional beers of Feldschlosschen, so travellers visiting the lounge really do get a taste of Switzerland.
A range of complimentary soft drinks, juices and alcoholic beverages are also available.
Aspire Airport Lounges does operate a Fit2Fly policy which means we may remind you about alcohol consumption and your compliance required to safely board your flight.
We cater for vegetarians but do not specifically cater for gluten free guests – always check with Aspire lounge staff if you have any concerns regarding gluten free food and drink.
We do not cater for kosher, dairy-free or halal dining requirements.
Please always report allergies or special dietary requirements to an Aspire Lounge host for advice or assistance.

Schengen is actually a treaty or convention, signed in the Luxembourg village of Schengen in 1985, which today is simply known as ‘Schengen’.
Initially it was to allow for free travel between Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and (West) Germany, so no passport control or visas were required to cross their borders. If you lived in one of the five original countries, you moved across borders freely with no passport or customs checks.
Today, the Schengen area or zone includes most of the EU countries and a small number of non-EU states – Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Lichtenstein).
Schengen:
If you hold a passport from a Schengen area country, you can travel between Schengen nations freely, without needing a visa or following the entry requirements that apply to non-Schengen travellers (foreign nationals). So Schengen airport terminals do not have passport control facilities, you just pass through them freely.
Non-Schengen:
If you’re travelling from outside the Schengen Area, you’ll need to use a terminal with full passport control facilities so border officers can verify your documents and process your entry into a Schengen country.
Consider this example: you and a travel companion are flying to the same destination but your partner holds a Brazilian passport while you hold a German one. You would depart through the Schengen terminal, while your partner would need to use the non-Schengen terminal, as they do not have the right to move freely within the Schengen area. Your partner would be treated as a foreign national entering a Schengen zone country and must, therefore, meet that country’s entry requirements and pass through full passport and customs checks.

We priorities locating our Aspire airport lounges close to airline boarding gates to minimise your stress and enable you to maximise your time with us in an Aspire airport lounge.
The Aspire Airside Lounge is located in the Airside Centre at Zurich Airport and sits right in the middle of the Schengen departures area, so it’s very close to the A, B and D gates.
A and B gates take approximately between 3-8 minutes depending on how busy the airport is.
Gate D is usually approximately 7 minutes but when the airport is busy can take 10 to navigate your way there.
It is always important to take into account how busy the airport terminal is as congestion can cause increased waiting times for lifts and access to boarding gates, so time to gate from the Aspire Zurich Airside lounge will vary.

We welcome all travellers and specifically design our Aspire Lounges to accommodate the needs of all types of travellers too.
It doesn’t matter which airline you fly with or whether it is economy or first class, you are welcome in our Aspire Zurich Airside Airport lounge. You will need a valid boarding pass and simply agree to our terms and conditions of entry then start relaxing.
With its tasteful décor, our Aspire Zurich Airside lounge creates a relaxing space, offering superb comfort and plenty of natural daylight for Aspire travellers to enjoy. Whether you need to work or simply relax you, will leave feeling refreshed and ready to fly.

Our standard ‘stay time’ in an Aspire Lounge is 3 hours duration prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight.

Our aim is to create a relaxing and stress free environment for our Aspire airport lounge guests to enjoy before flying. Consequently, we do not make tannoy flight announcements in our Aspire airport lounges.
We do provide all the necessary boarding and flight information on our flight information screens located around our Aspire Airside lounge or you can choose to track your flight information via our Aspire ‘in-lounge’ digital platform.
If in doubt, always ask an Aspire Zurich Airside Lounge team host for help or advice and do remember to always leave enough time to get to your boarding gate from the Aspire Airside lounge.

Yes, the Aspire Airside lounge has exclusive in-lounge toilets for Aspire guests only. We have also catered for those travellers with babies and infants by providing baby changing facilities for your comfort and ease.
