• Can I access this Aspire Airport Lounge as a Dragonpass Holder, Priority Pass Holder or Other Card Holder Scheme?

  Yes, you definitely can. But you must bring a few things with you to gain access. 

  Priority Pass and Dragonpass holders can access the Suite with an upgrade fee of CHF 30.00.

  If you’ve reserved a place at our Zurich Suite by Aspire airport lounge and you are currently a Dragonpass Holder, Priority Pass Holder or some other bank cardholder scheme, you will be asked to present your card in addition to your confirmation upon arrival at the airport lounge. 

  Anyone who fails to provide a valid lounge access card will, unfortunately, be denied entry to the Zurich Suite by Aspire lounge.  

  If you have reserved for more than one person, but do not have enough credits on your card for this on the day, you will be asked to pay the walk-up price at the lounge or you will be denied entry.  

  Please note, you must still reserve your place in our Aspire Airport Lounges as a Dragonpass Holder, Priority Pass Holder or a similar Airport lounge bank card scheme due to each lounge having a mandated person capacity.  

• What Food and Drink Can I Eat in the Zurich Suite by Aspire Lounge?

  We offer all travellers in our Aspire airport lounges a range of carefully curated complimentary hot dishes, light bites or snacks as well as alcoholic drinks, juices and soft drinks. 

  However, in our Zurich Suite by Aspire lounge we offer an elevated dining experience for travellers seeking a more refined and intimate lounge experience. 

  Suite guests will enjoy refined dining with full tableside service and choice of hot dishes from our carefully curated Suite menu. 

  If you can’t decide between the menu options, Suite guests are welcome to put together a meal that suits their needs. Simply speak to a Suite lounge host about your needs and we’ll always do what we can to create something that will satisfy your tastes. 

  Once seated, you will receive complimentary champagne and we have hand-selected premium wines.

  We haven’t forgotten Aspire travellers that might enjoy a refreshing beer either, with our regional selection of premium beer.  From the Aargau region of northern Switzerland we have Feldschlösschen and from the heart of the Swiss Alps, we have Calanda, produced in the beautiful alpine city of Chur. 

  Of course, we serve freshly baked Swiss and international pastries each day, complemented by Turm Swiss coffee, the perfect accompaniment with pastries or for a pick me up.  And our Bircher muesli is a firm favourite with our return guests too. 

  Look out for our Swiss chocolate in the Zurich Suite lounge too, it’s the perfect opportunity to try Swiss chocolate classics.

  Zurich Suite by Aspire offers 1st class amenities and services for those travellers seeking refined comfort, tranquillity and style. 

  Aspire Airport Lounges does operate a Fit2Fly policy, which means we may remind you about alcohol consumption and your compliance required to safely board your flight. 

  Please always report allergies or special dietary requirements to an Aspire Lounge Team member for advice or assistance. 

  We do not cater generally for gluten-free guests, however, Suite guests can speak to the Aspire Suite lounge team during their visit to see if a gluten-free meal option can be created for them. 

  Please note, we do not cater for kosher, dairy-free or halal dining requirements.   

  In certain locations, some of our food items are only available at selected times of the day and alcohol will not be served to under 18s. On occasion you may be asked politely for your proof of age in order to comply with licencing laws. 

• What are Schengen and Non Schengen travel zones?

  Schengen is actually a treaty or convention, signed in the Luxembourg village of Schengen in 1985, which today is simply known as ‘Schengen’. 

  Initially it was to allow for free travel between Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, France and (West) Germany, so no passport control or visas were required to cross their borders.  If you lived in one of the five original countries, you moved across borders freely with no passport or customs checks. 

  Today, the Schengen area or zone includes most of the EU countries and a small number of non-EU states – Norway, Switzerland, Iceland and Lichtenstein).   

   

  Schengen. 

  If you hold a passport from a Schengen area country, you can travel between Schengen nations freely, without needing a visa or following the entry requirements that apply to nonSchengen travellers (foreign nationals).  So Schengen airport terminals do not have passport control facilities, you just pass through them freely. 

  NonSchengen 

  If you’re travelling from outside the Schengen Area, you’ll need to use a terminal with full Passport Control facilities so border officers can verify your documents and process your entry into a Schengen country. 

   

  Consider this example: you and a travel companion are flying to the same destination but your partner holds a Brazilian passport while you hold a German one. You would depart through the Schengen terminal, while your partner would need to use the nonSchengen terminal, as they do not have the right to move freely within the Schengen area. Your partner would be treated as a foreign national entering a Schengenzone country and must, therefore, meet that country’s entry requirements and pass through full passport and customs checks. 
• How Close is the Zurich Suite by Aspire Airport Lounge to the Boarding Gates?

  Our priority is to locate our Aspire airport lounges close to airline boarding gates to optimise convenience and time for our travellers. It makes the whole process of boarding your flight easier and stress free, so you can spend more time enjoying the amenities in our Aspire Suite Lounge.  

  Our Zurich Suite by Aspire airport lounge is located in the centre of Dock E, optimising the time to all gates.   

  For Gates E35-E45 - maximum 2 minutes 

  For Gates E16 – E67 – usually 4 minutes but allow for 8 minutes during peak times 

  For Gates E55-E67 – usually 4 minutes but allow for 8 minutes during peak times 

  We want your stay with us to be as relaxing and stress free as possible. If you are unsure of where you are in relation to the boarding gates then please ask one of the Aspire Lounge team members to help you.

• Is an Aspire Suite Airport Lounge Open to All Travellers?

  Yes. Our aim is to provide relaxation, comfort and good food to every traveller that needs us.  

  Our Suite by Aspire lounge in Zurich offers an elevated level of preflight refinement, with attentive tableside service and an a` la carte menu complemented by premium Swiss wines and non-alcoholic drinks. The Zurich Suite lounge is elegant, with extremely comfortable furnishings, soft ambient lighting and a quieter and more intimate lounge space for Aspire travellers to enjoy. 

  It doesn’t matter which airline you fly with or whether it is economy or first class, you are welcome in our Zurich Aspire Lounges. You will need a valid boarding pass and simply agree to our terms and conditions of entry then start relaxing. 

• How Long Can I Stay in the Zurich Suite by Aspire Airport Lounge?

  Our standard ‘stay time’ in an Aspire Lounge is 3 hours duration prior to the scheduled departure time of your flight. 

• Will I Get My Gate Information in an Aspire Airport Lounge?

  Our aim is to create an intimate and stress free environment for our Zurich Suite Airport Lounge guests to enjoy before flying. Consequently, we do not make tannoy flight announcements in our airport lounges.   

  We do provide all the necessary boarding and flight information on our flight information screens located around our Zurich Suite lounge or you can choose to track your flight information via our Aspire ‘in-lounge’ digital platform. 

  If in doubt, always ask an Aspire Lounge team member for help or advice and do remember to always leave enough time to get to your boarding gate from the Zurich Suite by Aspire Lounge. 

• Are Children and Infants allowed in this Zurich Suite Aspire Lounge?

  Yes, children are permitted in the Zurich Suite by Aspire lounge subject to availability.

• Does the Zurich Aspire Airport Lounge Have Restrooms?

  No, the restrooms are not inside the Zurich Suite Aspire lounge but are directly opposite reception. The restrooms are shared by other lounge companies so these facilities are not used by default by the general public.

• Is There a Dress Code for Aspire Airport Lounges?

  Our Aspire Airport lounges have a relaxed 'Smart-Casual' dress code as we appreciate that all our customers want to travel in comfortable clothing. 

  This means we do allow items that are not typically associated with smart casual wear. You can travel comfortably in clothing such as: Smart shorts (Chino Shorts / Cargo Shorts), Sandals, Smart Trainers, Non-Sport Fashion Tracksuits, Hooded Tops, Smart T-Shirts, Jeans etc. 

  We don’t allow clothing such as (but not limited to); Vest tops for men, Football / Rugby Team Shirts, Clothing with offensive slogans, baseball caps, tour shirts, fancy dress or onesies  

  Guests are kindly requested to adhere to the Aspire Airport Lounge dress code by ensuring they are dressed appropriately at all times.
